Hana Makgeolli, in partnership with Hyesun House, is pleased to offer a virtual Makings of Makgeolli class on Sunday, April 17th from 6:00-7:30pm. Please join us to learn more about the history behind Korean alcohols, their unique fermentation processes, and even prepare a brew in the comfort of your own home! This 1.5 hour intensive will take you through an educational discussion, a hands-on brewing lesson using Hyesun House’s Make-Your-Own Makgeolli Kit, and a guided tasting of our TAKJU 16.
In advance of the class, all participants will be shipped a Make-Your-Own Makgeolli Kit ($55 value) and a bottle of our TAKJU 16 (375ml) ($18 value). Participants will receive detailed instructions about how to come to our course fully prepared to learn. Most importantly, we ask that you come with an open mind and a willingness to get your hands dirty!
Registration will open on Thursday, March 31st and will close on Friday, April 8th. Please note that any cancellations made after April 9th cannot be refunded due to shipping logistics.
